9/23 & 9/24
Today the students worked on Goal Setting as the beginning step of the Self Assessment/Skill Development Unit. We learned about a specific Goal Setting Format called G-P-A or Goal-Plan-Action. Each student practiced this method by writting 1 personal goal and than completed an in-class assignment by writing an Academic/School Related goal that was hung on the wall with each of their classmates goals for the period. These Academic/School related goals have a timeline-deadline for completion of 10/23/08 which is the end of the 1st Progress Report Period. At that time, all of the goals will be read aloud and if acheived, moved to the Goal Success board that is posted in the classroom. If you were absent, please see your teacher to make sure your G-P-A Goal gets up on the wall.
